Base grade administrative positions

ASIO offers employment opportunities at the base grade level for people with general clerical/administrative experience in both temporary and permanent positions with salary from around $36,773 to $45,893. All of these positions are based in Canberra.

Administrative/clerical officers need to have:

• office administration skills (word processing, financial management, filing, data entry and database interrogation);
• an ability to use information technology;
• good communication skills;
• good teamwork skills.
